Seeking an experienced IT Manager with deep technical expertise in systems, security, and infrastructure management. This role blends hands-on system administration with leadership responsibilities to ensure highly available, secure, and compliant IT operations across hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will lead daily operations, mentor IT staff, and drive technology initiatives aligned with organizational goals and compliance requirements. As part of company’s mission to deliver state-of-the-art ASIC designs, the IT Manager will be responsible for supporting Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and Linux-based design environments essential to advanced semiconductor development. This role includes ensuring that EDA tools operate reliably and efficiently on high-performance Linux infrastructure tailored to the unique demands of ASIC workflows.

Responsibilities: 
Support for EDA Design Tools and ASIC Development 
• Provide infrastructure support for leading EDA toolchains (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens EDA) in a Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) environment. 
• Collaborate with ASIC and digital design teams to optimize system configurations, file systems (e.g., NFS, Lustre), and high-speed networking for design workloads. 
• Administer license servers and ensure uptime of floating license services (FlexNet, RLM, etc.) critical for tool access. 
• Implement automation and orchestration for EDA job scheduling and resource management (e.g., LSF, Slurm, Grid Engine). 
• Monitor compute node health, performance, and storage I/O to ensure uninterrupted operation of simulation, synthesis, P&R, and verification flows. 
• Apply ITIL best practices to track and resolve tool-related incidents, usage bottlenecks, and infrastructure failures affecting design operations. 
• Maintain cybersecurity controls for design IP environments, including secure data storage, access auditing, and vulnerability mitigation. 
• Lead OS patching and system upgrades on Linux clusters used for EDA, balancing system security with tool version stability. 

Qualifications: 
• 5+ years managing enterprise IT infrastructure. 
• Expert-level experience with Windows, Linux, and VMware virtualization technologies. 
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewall security, and hybrid cloud environments. 
• Proficiency with scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash; Python preferred. 
• SQL database administration and infrastructure monitoring tools. 

Certifications (at least two of the following or equivalent): 
• CompTIA Security+ 
• ITIL v4 Foundation 
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator 
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP 
• VMware VCP-DCV 
• PMP or similar project management certification 

Preferred Qualifications: 
• Experience with configuration management (Ansible, Active Directory). 
• Knowledge of PKI, SD-WAN, network automation, and SIEM platforms. 
• Administration and business continuity planning. 
• Familiarity with NIST, FedRAMP, or CMMC compliance frameworks. 
• Hands-on support of semiconductor design environments using commercial EDA tools. 
• Familiarity with ASIC/FPGA flows including RTL development, logic simulation, synthesis, and physical implementation.
