Quality Technician

Job Description:
As Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the established quality standards. Quality Technicians perform inspections, tests, and measurements on products and services to ensure that they meet the required quality specifications. You will also be responsible for identifying and addressing quality issues, as well as implementing corrective actions. You will also maintain records of quality control data and prepare reports for management.
Essential Duties and Qualifications:
• Manage shipping and receiving of electronic components and printed circuit boards.
• Inspect goods or products according to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Develop, write and maintain company inspection reports.
• Manage site equipment Calibration processes and requirements.
• Compliance tasks to support ESD and FOD requirements.
• Work to create tools to better manage inventory goods and information, including management of Government Property.
• Collect, compile, and analyze On Time Delivery (OTD) data, generating regular quality reports for management review.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements. Develop and implement corrective action plans based on audit findings.
• Collaborate and interface with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for incoming materials and On Time Delivery.
• Contribute to cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance process quality and efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of work instructions, quality control procedures and best practices for each component type.
• Investigate and identify root causes of quality issues, defects, and non-conformities. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
