Legal Recruiting Coordinator - Century City, CA Top-rated law firm's Century City office is seeking a Legal Recruiting Coordinator as part of the Firm wide Legal Recruiting & Development Department. The Legal Recruiting Coordinator will provide support to the legal recruiting efforts of the Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills; be a team player; demonstrate strong client service; have the utmost respect for confidentiality and attention to detail; work independently and be able to follow up with minimal instructions; have the ability to prioritize work and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; interact with potential recruits, attorneys and staff at all levels of the Firm’s business; strong organizational skills, demonstrate initiative and work under pressure and deal with demanding deadlines. Individual must have the ability to work overtime.
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate and attend events
Track the Summer Program budget
Liaise between the Summer Associates and the attorneys and staff
Fall Recruiting
Coordinate rising 2L receptions
Coordinate offer dinners, pre-OCI receptions
Manage write-in/resume collection process
Assist in preparation for callback meetings
Maintain ViDesktop records
Lateral Recruiting
Maintain candidate database as resumes are received and decisions are made
Assist with lateral candidate interview scheduling and feedback collection
Supervise temps and interns when applicable
Assist with New Associate Orientation as needed
Prepare Firm wide Fall Recruiting survey, aggregate and analyze results
Maintain recruiting timeline for events and projects
Assist with purchase of Kirkland branded gifts and giveaways
Respond to inquiries from attorneys/staff, as needed
Assist with administrative support
Process check requests and expense reports
Generate surveys using Novi Survey toll
Enter attorney hire data into the Personnel Action Request System
Respond actively, thoroughly and courteously to the needs of clients and internal requests within the firm; volunteer time and knowledge; work effectively and willingly with others.
Qualifications & Requirements Minimum two to four years of experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional services environment. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Experience with Symplicity and ViDesktop preferred. Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
