Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer
Minneapolis, MN (onsite/hybrid)

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Architect, design, and verify state-of-the-art analog/mixed-signal circuits
• Collaborate with cross-function teams such as digital design, design verification, product, test, application, system and software teams
• Engage with customer when needed to help translate end product requirements to chip/block design specifications
• Lead a design/project team when needed to achieve a common goal on time
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on the design/project team
• Perform design reviews and document designs as needed
• Supervise layout engineers on block and top-level layouts that meet requirements on size, matching, layout dependent effect, parasitics, coupling, MS-STA, etc.
• Work with product/test/qualification teams in bringing up silicon and supporting through the product lifecycle
Qualifications:
• BSEE/MSEE with at least 5 years of design and/or test engineering experience
• Ability to rapidly grasp technical concepts and solutions
• Ability to work effectively both as an individual contributor/team player and as a team lead
• CMOS process nodes: ADC, DAC, PGA, LDO, Bandgap, DLL/PLL, LVDS TX/RX
• Experience with common lab evaluation equipment and silicon issue debugging
• Extensive experience and knowledge in designing two or more of the following in advanced
• Familiar with IC product lifecycle and experience in bringing product from definition to product launch
• Hands on layout experience and knowledge of various layout effects
• Knowledge in digital, design verification and MS-STA is a plus
• Practical knowledge of writing circuit behavioral models when needed
• Proficient in using one or more of MATLAB/Simulink/Python tools
• Proficient with common IC design/layout tools from Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor proficiency is a plus
• Proven experience taking designs from concept to production
• Self-driven and willingness to go beyond the comfort zone to grow
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong knowledge of analog integrated circuit design fundamentals
• Strong lab and silicon validation skills
• Transistor and system level simulation skills
