Semiconductor Test Engineer

Job Summary:
The Test Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of semiconductor products. This position involves developing and executing test plans, analyzing test data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product reliability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in semiconductor testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, procedures, and test cases for semiconductor devices.
• Design and optimize automated test setups and test scripts to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct detailed analysis of test data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with design, process, and product engineering teams to define test requirements and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality guidelines.
• Provide technical support for production testing and troubleshoot issues that arise during testing.
• Prepare comprehensive test reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay current with advancements in semiconductor testing methodologies and equipment.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor testing or a similar field.
• Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and automated test systems.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and testing methodologies.
• Experience with test software development and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++).
• Expertise in CAD system schematic and layout (routing).
• Familiarity with industry-standard equipment such as Prober, handler, and ATE (Automatic Test Equipment).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with mixed-signal and digital testing.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as JEDEC, AECQ and MIL-STD.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes and reliability testing.
